IMPORTANT!--The anticipation of a new puppy can understandably create a sense of urgency to try to locate a litter, without allowing adequate time for breed research.  It is for your benefit, as well as the welfare of our treasured dogs, that we urge you to complete the recommended reading on our Research page before contacting breeders.  This will optimize your future discussions with breeders and move you more effectively toward an informed decision.

Some of the members listed are not actively breeding (they are identified), but as with the active breeders, they have indicated that they abide by the BTCA Ethical Standard and are willing to discuss the breed and provide information to people researching Border Terriers.
