There are many things that Border Terriers can be involved in as far as dog activities. They are a very versatile breed.

  • Earthdog

    Earthdog is a sport designed for small terriers and dachshunds. It gives people and their dogs a safe taste of what the dogs were originally bred to do, work quarry in small tunnels.

  • Therapy Dog

    Border Terriers are both hardy and sensitive dogs. They have been successfully used as Therapy dogs, helping all sorts of people, elderly, children, and disaster victims to be able to live their lives a little better.

  • Conformation

    Breed shows are the shows where dogs are paraded around a ring in front of a judge. The judge must then determine which of these dogs best represents the breed as far as what the breed should look like.

  • Agility

    Dog Agility allows the Border Terrier to test his speed, agility, and dexterity on, over, and through many different obstacles.

  • Obedience

    Dog Obedience gives a chance for the dog and owner to show partnership as the dog responds to owner commands.

  • Rally Obedience

    Rally Obedience is a more informal and faster paced version of regular Dog Obedience.

  • Tracking

    Tracking allows the Border Terrier to use their nose to find dropped items.

  • Flyball

    Flyball is a fast, exciting, noisy sport. It is basically a relay race for dogs and the dogs that do it love it.
