All BTCA members with a valid email address (who have not already registered) are encouraged to register.
As we are still getting used to the new software we have taken a conservative approach.
The Members only file section contains the following:
- Board Business Pages
- The Borderline
- Extraction from the Connections (this is limited member information only) --
next year your renewal form will allow you to select what information you want to appear in the printed Connections directory,
the on-line directory (on the public site), and the on-line Connections on the members only site.
- Member Alerts and/or Volunteer Opportunities - Check out the latest information from our Committees and see how you can use your skills and interests to benefit the club and "pay it forward".
The Members Only Forums has the following forums:
- Board Communication
A place where the BTCA Board members may post announcements to the membership, seek input from the membership and also set up polls for membership opinions.
- National Specialties
A place for BTCA members to find information on our National Specialties, including volunteer opportunities.
Subforums: 2009, 2010, 2011,2012
- Border Barks
A place for BTCA members to share and discuss items of general interest to the club membership.
- Legislative Alerts
A place to post legislative activity that may have a negative impact on responsible owners and hobby breeders while doing nothing to address the real issues
- Bridge Borders
A place to honor the beloved Borders who wait for us at the "Rainbow Bridge"
- FAQs
The place where you will hopefully find answers to your "how to" questions.

Registration General Information
In the case of households with one email address but multiple members, each member will be able to set up their own User ID.
In order to allow members to pick their own user name and password, sign-ups will need to be authorized and activated.
This process normally takes less than 24 hrs but registrations submitted on a Friday may not be activated until the Monday.
If you have changed your email address since you joined or renewed, please contact Pam Dyer (nomad@coovara.com) with your current email address.
Registration Process
- Go to www.btcoa.org/forums
- Select REGISTER
- This will take you to an agreement page which you must read and accept.
- This will then take you to a typical sign up page with a confirmation code that must be entered.
If you cannot see the code, try doing a right click on the "X" and select, show picture
Please note, that your username and password are case sensitive
- Once you have submitted your registration, your access will be on hold pending authorization and activation.
- Once authorization is complete, you will receive an email from the Web Committee advising you of activation.
- Once authorization is complete, you will be able to access the Members only file section at www.btcoa.org/members_only.
- You will also be able to access the Forums either via www.btcoa.org/forums or the link under the site map on the members only page, however you will need to re-enter your Log In information
